Gornji Grad (Upper Town) is Zagreb's medieval historic core: cobblestone streets, panoramic views and tightly held heritage property, crowned by the tiled-roof St. Mark's Church, the Lotrščak Tower, the Stone Gate and, on adjacent Kaptol, Zagreb Cathedral, with museums and the Strossmayer promenade. For investors, Gornji Grad is a heritage, prestige and boutique short-let play: scarce period stock with gross yields of ~3.5–4%.
