Centro is Rosario's dense downtown core, strung between the riverfront Monumento a la Bandera and the pedestrianised Peatonal Córdoba, with the Plaza 25 de Mayo, the cathedral and the Parque Nacional a la Bandera. Walkable and busy, it is the city's most-transacted and most-rented zone, mixing older apartment stock with offices. It is congested and busy by day, with quieter pockets warranting night-time caution.
