Ville-Marie (Downtown)

Ville-Marie is Montreal's downtown borough and beating heart: the central business district, three major universities (McGill, Concordia, UQAM), the festival-driven Quartier des Spectacles and Place des Arts, the shopping spine of Rue Sainte-Catherine, and the 33-kilometre climate-controlled RÉSO Underground City that keeps the core walkable through winter. Multiple metro lines and the new REM converge here.
